Security is solidarity: it's never been more important to resist police surveillance.

This webinar will help you stay safe and secure while letting you communciate and organise effectively. No specialist knowledge required - self-identified 'technophobes' welcome! We'll cover:

• How can you set your devices up to keep messages and documents private?
• How can you search the internet while protecting your privacy and stopping people tracing your personal data?
• Knowing that police are spying on us, how can we stay secure without getting paranoid or becoming a tech expert?

Who are we?

The Network for Police Monitoring is an inclusive network of activists, campaigners, lawyers and researchers working against expanding police powers and surveillance of social movements.

The Digital Self Defence Collective (DSDC) are a group of political organisers who all ended up being a "tech person" in some movement or another. We want to bring easy-to-understand digital security training to every day revolutionaries.

Seeds for Change is a a workers’ co-op that offers training, facilitation and a library of free resources for grassroots social and environmental justice movements.

This is the first of a few trainings (with accompanying zines) that we are pulling together. We hope you like it!
