HOMER has a newly created opportunity for a Director of ProductKidPass to join our growing team! This role will report to our General Manager of KidPass. This role will report into our New York office in a hybrid capacity or can be remotely based in select US locations*. 

KidPass, a BEGiN Company, is the leading marketplace for parents to discover and book amazing kids activities including in-person classes, online classes, and tutoring. We work with thousands of teachers and kids activity providers, including Gymboree, Kidville, Super Soccer Stars, Music Together, YMCA, JCC,  the Museum of Modern Art, and many more! Backed by leading tech investors, KidPass has rapidly grown to become the largest kids activities marketplace.

Reporting into our General Manager of KidPass, the Director of Product will be responsible for leading a team to execute projects, products, and features from ideation through execution and iteration. This will be a core position collaborating with our Design, Research, Data, and Engineering Teams at KidPass and across BEGiN to launch new features and products.

You will:

  • Work with your team and leadership to set product strategy
  • Speed up decision making for your team by ensuring projects start with the right data, research, and analysis 
  • Translate research and ambiguous ideas into tightly scoped, actionable plans 
  • Talk to users and partners to reveal their core problems and needs and translate these into product 
  • Quantify P&L impact of potential features through ROI analyses 
  • Dig into data to identify new opportunities and analyze existing products. 
  • Do whatever it takes to make your team and product successful. You'll never say, “That's not my job.”

You have:

  • 5-7 years of Product Management experience
  • BS degree, ideally with a focused Computer Science, Finance, or Engineering
  • Experience with marketplaces and consumer subscription service
  • Be a self-starter, resourceful, and entrepreneurial
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty well. You can make decisive calls without enough information
  • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate to both business and technical personnel
  • Ability to formulate a long-term business strategy and the short-term steps to achieve it 
  • Empathy for users (with a desire to talk to them about their problems), stakeholders, and partners


  • Experience working with remote teams is a plus
  • Experience in Ed Tech and/or Marketplaces  and/or Subscriptions is a plus
