We are Lettuce Grow -- a dynamic direct-to-consumer company at the intersection of ag-tech and sustainable food. Together with our parent company, The Farm Project (a Public Benefit Corporation), we are working on creating a new food system. We believe that the future of food lies in empowering thriving, localized food economies that benefit the health of the people, the planet, and the communities around us. Our mission is to empower everyone to grow at least 20% of their own food.

We are looking for a Product Manager who wants to join a dynamic, fast-growing, direct-to-consumer company at the intersection of food and sustainability. As a key member of the Product team, you will be responsible for streamlining and enhancing our ecommerce experience and funnel. This includes AB testing, site performance optimization, and ensuring our ecommerce funnel has proper and easy user experience. You will partner with Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Project Management and QA, to make our website easy to navigate and understand.


  • Work closely with key stakeholders in Marketing, Customer Service, and your counterparts in product and engineering to define and document key initiatives to improve the existing site experience
  • Identify the needs of our external customers to develop solutions
  • Make build vs buy decisions on potential new microservice architectures
  • Identify new opportunities and manage business case development which includes product overviews, cost-benefit analysis, competitive research, and testing data.
  • Own the Ecommerce Product Roadmap and continually review it to identify strategic optimization and long-term growth opportunities
  • Conceive of, define, and develop new AB tests to improve the customer experience and streamline our conversion funnel
  • Partner with the product team to develop new user flows to test
  • Perform constant competitive analysis and institutionalize best practices
  • Inform the internal facing team on what the storefront needs are from our internal systems and data to support customer acquisition
  • Be data first to steer improvements, inform projects, and drive product decisions, coupled with a good understanding of best practices and what works well
  • Regularly participate and sometimes lead product ceremonies and collaborative brainstorming exercises
  • Work closely with QA to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are clear, to ensure adequacy of test plans, test cases, and exit criteria; identify potential risks to successful implementation; escalate blockers


  • 3+ years of relevant product management experience
  • Strong analytical ability that enables you to break down complex problems and synthesize insights from data
  • Proven ability to persuade and influence cross-functional teams, create buy-in for a vision
  • Team first mentality with passion, urgency, focus and respect for other members on the team
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders
  • Understanding of business and technology strategy to make short and long-term trade-offs across different products
  • Depth of knowledge for common practices in UX and UI
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment
  • Experience in ecommerce and recurring revenue businesses
  • Experience with DTC brands a plus
  • SQL and other technical skills a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in a technical or operations field
