The Product Manager-Platform and Shared Services leads the Healthwise shared services strategy and execution. They treat each shared service as a product. They are responsible for all phases of the product lifecycle, including market needs analysis, requirements definition, planning, development, go-to-market support (when required), ongoing optimization, maintenance, migration and sunset.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Defines strategy and roadmap for platform and shared services capabilities. 

· Collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure our platform and shared services are designed and maintained to support 

  our products both new and in-market.

· Participates with team members to take shared services capabilities to market supporting our core solutions. 

· Analyzes market requirements, creates functional integration design, coordinates development and testing, manages 

  demonstration and early adopter projects, ensures market fit, assists sales and marketing with go-to-market materials.

· Identifies and develops requirements to drive design, development and testing of new services and platform capabilities that will 

  support our core applications and APIs.

· Manages and continuously improves existing platform and shared services capabilities. For all shared solutions, manages 

  documentation for functional/technical specifications, uses cases, and user acceptance plans. Manages roadmap and prioritizes 

  backlog of related enhancements.

· Proactively manages updates for shared services, platform and internal and external application integration capabilities. Ensures 

  changes are communicated in advance and implemented without service disruption or negative client impacts. This includes 

  changes to the platform, shared services, changes to Healthwise content, apps and services, and changes to third-party 

  components which fall under the shared services and platform model.

· Manages end-of-life and migration activities for platform and shared services capabilities. Develops and executes plan for 

  seamless sunset and migration to next generation solutions.

· This role requires extensive internal collaboration with Product Managers, Integration Engineers, Engineering, Dev Ops, Project 

  Managers, Marketing and Product Marketing Managers.

· The role requires extensive external collaboration with product managers and developers, and technical implementation teams of   our early adopter clients.

· Requires between 10% and 20% travel. Estimated 3 to 5 trips per year.

· Performs other duties and special projects as assigned or needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience. 

· 5+ years of systems integration, product development and/or product management experience.

· Experience using product management methodologies and frameworks, successfully managing product roadmaps and 

  prioritizing backlogs.

· Experience documenting market requirements, functional/technical specifications, use cases, and test plans.

· The ideal candidate is familiar with most or all of the following technologies and can discuss them fluidly with developers, 

  engineers and other product managers:

     * Service-oriented architecture and web services (API’s, XML, REST, Postman)

     * Web development technologies (JavaScript, JQuery, Python, AJAX, HMTL)

     * Integration engines (Mulesoft, Redox)

     * Healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)

     * Security protocols and standards (TLS, oAuth2)

· Proficient with workflow and collaboration applications such as Teams, JIRA, Confluence, and Salesforce.

· Must be a strong writer and presenter, able to influence internal and external stakeholders and executives.

· Excellent people and management skills to interact with cross-functional teams, internal leadership, external client and partner 

  stakeholders.
