About You and The Role

Zipline’s Data team is responsible for powering data-driven decision making across the entire organization. In order for us to execute against our mission, we need to invest in designing and building tools that enable employees to explore, discover, and efficiently use our data.

We also expect that as the company and our data grows, we’ll need your help building out other innovative tools to simplify and optimize data workflows, visualize information, and enable employees to more easily make decisions with data.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and designing intuitive interfaces and data visualizations that power decision making. You will interact with employees across the organization to gather ideas and requirements and work closely with a collaborative team of data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to take ideas from concept to reality. What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development building scalable and performant front-end applications
  • Expertise with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (bonus points for React and TypeScript)

  • Experience working with Restful APIs
  • Experience using Git for version control
  • Ability to rapidly prototype and adjust to feedback
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
