GoodParty.org is looking for a growth and user obsessed Senior Product Manager or Principal Product Manager to join us in our mission of making people matter more than money in our democracy.

GoodParty.org is a comprehensive platform powering the movement to make people matter more than money in our democracy.

Why?

Americans – especially young people – are losing faith in democracy. The rigged, two party system has turned “Independent” into a dirty word. Voters are trapped between choosing the lesser of two evils or sitting out elections altogether.

A majority of eligible voters (over 130M Americans), including more than half of Millennials and Gen Z, say that neither Republicans, nor Democrats represent them. But they keep getting re-elected! Whether you’re concerned about the environment, healthcare costs, wars, inequality, or our individual freedoms, many great solutions are held back by the dark doom-loop of dysfunctional partisan politics.

While mainstream media and the two major parties focus on federal elections (e.g. Congress and President), GoodParty.org is building from the bottom up.  With over 500,000 elected offices in the United States, 70% of which are uncontested, we are powering a grassroots revolution to take back our communities from career politicians by helping real people run and win local and state level campaigns all across the country.

GoodParty.org is founded and fully-funded by serial entrepreneur, Farhad Mohit, with over $1B in exits — Flipagram (now TikTok), Shopzilla, and BizRate.

How?

GoodParty.org’s solution is to make it simple to run, win and serve. We offer free AI powered tools to help real people run and win elections, independent of partisan support or big money.  We train people to run for office and support candidates who take our pledge so they don’t have to sell out to the Democrats or Republicans, raise big money, or cow-tow to special interests. Our free AI Campaign Manager and team with 50+ years of campaign experience make running, winning and serving as an independent, people-powered anti-corruption candidate possible.

We’re also building a movement of bright, caring Americans who are ready to end this country's two-party political dysfunction. Our community’s collective power is being harnessed to elect the most promising independents around the country. By leveraging social media and creators, we’re making our mission to make people matter more than money mainstream.

What you’ll do:

  • Turn ideas into scalable product solutions that empower independents to explore a run for office, run winning campaigns, and serve in office.

  • Collaborate on product vision, strategy, and roadmap, the product team, and politics team stakeholders.

  • Create cohesive funnels that drive user adoption, growth, and unlock a viable path for independent candidates.

  • Draft requirements and create a roadmap for products with a bias toward efficiently getting to the design stage.

  • Leverage your passion for users to organize user research and testing across our politically diverse user base in collaboration with the design team

  • Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to validate ideas, learn from user interactions or feedback, and improve metrics on existing products.

Who we’re looking for:

  • You’re up for the audacious challenge of transforming our democracy by making running as an independent a viable path to getting elected into serviceYou’re very curious about this problem space or are already passionate about it.

  • You’re a proven A-player with a 5+ year track record of building tech products, with increasing responsibility and success. Title will be commensurate with experience.

  • You’ve either built something from scratch or were very early on a product that went from 0 or 0.5 to 1 (and beyond). You’re quick to pivot when the need arises or a better path emerges.

  • You get obsessed with your user. You research them and proactively try to make them as successful as possible by improving the product.

  • You’re analytical with a metrics mindset, plus you’ve got the data, optimization, and problem solving skills to ensure products meet their potential.

  • You’re exploring emerging Generative-AI tools and understand the basics of prompt engineering both to scale yourself and improve products and features.

  • You’re organized and prefer to work within lean and Kanban processes alongside design and development.

  • You love diving in to understand relevant products and figuring out if there are opportunities to integrate.

  • You’re able to work independently and also enjoy collaborating with others to iteratively solve problems in real-time. You thrive working at the startup speed that our mission demands.

  • You pursue understanding user perspectives and behavior with curiosity and empathy.

  • You communicate directly, honestly, and are open to candid feedback.

Bonus if:

  • You have experience working in small, tight-knit, fast-paced remote teams.

  • You’ve got experience studying, working, or volunteering in politics, civics, or democracy reform.

  • You are anti-establishment and are sick of sitting on the sidelines watching our democracy fail to meet its potential.

Why you should work at GoodParty.org:

  • Join us in solving the biggest problem of our time – reinventing our democracy – so all other societal issues  can be unblocked and solved

  • We’re a Public Benefit Corporation that prioritizes social impact over making money

  • Work where and how you like, on a fully remote team spread across the country

  • Join a passionate team with career experiences as diverse as our political views – all focused on our mission to make people matter more than money in our democracy

  • 100% coverage of health, dental, and vision benefits for you and your dependents

  • We encourage you to take time off to recharge and have an unlimited PTO (sick and vacation) policy. This is a marathon, not a sprint. We believe a work-life balance is needed to get there.

  • We’ll make sure you’ve got what you need to work remotely through our workspace setup stipend

  • If you work from home, we give $50/month to help with your internet and other expenses. If you prefer co-working, that’s an option we can discuss too.

  • We’re fully funded for our mission. No stressing over whether the next round of funding will come through. Focus on making an impact. That’s what matters here.

The title for this role will be commensurate with experience.

The salary range is $125,000 to $200,000 for this remote, full-time position with excellent benefits. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, seniority, education, qualifications, certifications, and organizational needs. We reserve the right to modify this pay range at any time.
