Summary of the Position

This position is responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing business process analysis, and technology plans ensuring that IT solutions are in alignment with business stakeholder objectives and initiatives by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties

  • Champions the process of the SCRUM/Agile team, bridging gaps between IT technical solutions and business stakeholder needs through interview, design, and requirement gathering.
  • Acts as the primary advocate aligning technical solutions with business problems.
  • Advocates on behalf of the business to support business initiatives.
  • Supports business operations and data systems, designing solutions that minimize manual processes, redundancy, and maximizes reportability.
  • Acts as a technical contact with software vendors logging and tracking tickets in support portals. Understands business impacts of defect and change logs and manage new releases and their impacts on the business operations.
  • Develops positive and professional business relationships with internal Product Owners, and external users. 
  • Plans and leads requirements gathering sessions and documents the resulting functional and non-functional requirements and business processes.
  • Works with business and IT team to determine documentation needs.
  • Identifies opportunities for innovation.
  • Interviews, documents, and maintains functional and non-functional requirements including system overviews, functional narratives, BRD (Business Requirement Document), user stories, and detailed use cases within a SCRUM/Agile framework.
  • As part of a SCRUM team, provides a communication bridge between the Product Owner, the Development Team and ensures that the business requirements are clearly understood, well-documented, and aligned with the business strategy.
  • Works with QA to bridge the requirements to the QA process to ensure the QA test cases align with the business requirements and acceptance criteria,
  • Coordinates the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with the business across the enterprise.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university required.
  • Fifth year college or university program certificate preferred.

 

Experience

  • Four to ten years related experience and/or training in Health Care Industry required.
