About the Position:

Solera Health is seeking a Product Manager who will work collaboratively within an agile software development team to help solve business problems through Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. This role will report to the Director of Product Management and will be challenged to work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure value is being delivered to customers by helping to define business problems, validating solutions to those problems, and grooming the product backlog. This role requires a genuine passion for users, technology, problem solving, and creativity.

What you’ll do:

Requirements Management and Documentation

  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders to understand existing business problems and determine the outcomes to be achieved
  • Document business and product requirements and creates clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Manage and prioritize a product backlog containing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Validate solutions and hypotheses through user testing and feedback
  • Translate highly technical concepts to business leaders and non-technical stakeholders
  • Respond to feature requests and triaging bugs reported to ensure the business need is understood and that requirements and priority are clearly communicated to the engineering team
  • Assess and analyze how features are performing in market and understand user behaviors to make recommendations for product iterations.

Facilitation and Collaboration

  • Effectively facilitate the development team through an Agile development process
  • Partner across the product organization to translate business needs, MoSCoW diagrams and user story maps into executable development deliverables
  • Work closing with QA teams to review test scripts to ensure full coverage of product functionality
  • Work with the Program Management team and other stakeholders to facilitate new partner and client onboarding

What you’ll need:

  • Self-starting, get stuff done attitude
  • Comfortable working within a data-driven product management culture
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and facilitation skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, facilitation, and multi-tasking
  • Connects with both technical and non-technical people at all levels of the organization
  • Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Experience with information technology, systems integration, software development, analytics, and large data applications
  • Experience with requirements tracking and workflow software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Math or relevant experience
  • 2+ years experience as an Agile Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, or related Agile team member
  • 2+ years in technology driven healthcare, wellness, or benefits, preferable

Where you are located:

  • Remote position which may require travel to other corporate locations as needed
