What impact you’ll have

The ideal candidate will be experienced with data management and prescription claims data,is a goal-oriented, focused individual who can execute data management plans. In a world where the speed of change is forever increasing, being successful in this position requires the ability to assess how new approaches will impact customer retention and make prioritization decisions to maximize processing and efficiency. As we continue to scale, the candidate’s success will be proportional to the candidate’s ability to coordinate, inspect, and deliver quality data for clients.

  • Become subject matter expert for the Kalderos data lifecycle..
  • Assist with the development of data management processes and standards with other team members.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement, consistently assessing data quality as Kalderos obtains data from new sources.
  • Work with stakeholders to proactively educate on the loading process and procedures.
  • Communicate issues to the Data Management team and work to resolve issues.
  • Help document new Kalderos articles to address users’ frequently asked questions, including new processes.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with Kalderos staff to establish a positive rapport.
  • Collaborate with data management peers, analyzing data collected, and streamline data load processes.
  • Proactively communicate status to management.
  • Coordinate and participate in Kalderos data management tasks.
  • Participate in the selection of appropriate tools, techniques, and methodologies to effectively build and scale processes.
  • Contribute to building and managing internal software processes.
  • Solve for business requirements using creative software and internal process solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with teams who have executed and developed data management solutions in the US drug discount space and will possess the following attributes:

  • Be able to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment where industry expertise, technology, and design share equal importance in the development of Kalderos’ solutions. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills when interacting with stakeholders to communicate ideas and proposals.
  • High standards for excellence and strict adherence to policies, controls, procedures, and timelines.
  • Analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability using data to influence decision making.
  • Strong expertise in data, task, and time management
  • Comprehensive business and technical (SQL) knowledge highly recommended
  • Knowledge of a general-purpose programming language for data scripting such as Python (preferred).
  • Accuracy, organized, and detail oriented.
  • 12 months+ experience in the Information Technology arena, processing data recommended.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related major or healthcare administration preferred.
  • Ability to Interpret data by means of various methodologies.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (excel, fixed-width-files, parquet, binary files) and/or Google for Business Applications
  • The ability to effectively juggle multiple escalations and priorities at once.

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy billing systems, or EMR/EHR.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software implementation including ETL, API, EDI, and SQL integrations.
  • Experience managing and scaling a customer support function for a growth-stage enterprise software company.
  • Knowledge of interacting with RESTful APIs and automation.
  • Knowledge of scheduling tools such as DataFactory or Airflow.
  • Knowledge of public clouds, object storage, and other services such as Microsoft Azure (preferred) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with Pharmaceutical Claims data and standards such as NCPDP and EDI.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and best practices around securing information during ETL.
  • Experience tracking SLAs, SLOs, and building checkpoints to ensure delivery against standards and agreements,
  • Experience working with Pharmaceutical Claims data and standards such as NCPDP and EDI.
