We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator who will be responsible for helping to implement and troubleshoot Aetion’s Salesforce needs across the organization from configuration to integrations and on-going support. As Aetion’'s Salesforce expert, your mission will be to empower our Growth team to achieve their goals by optimizing workflows, automating processes, integrating new systems, ensuring accurate data entry, and troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively.

In this role, you will ensure that SFDC is running smoothly and efficiently, as well as drive cross-functional process improvements. The ideal candidate is highly driven, analytical, organized, and passionate. This role offers a tremendous opportunity to make a positive impact with a rapidly growing company and to work collaboratively with the Growth, Marketing, and Finance teams at Aetion. The ideal candidate should have a strong Salesforce technical skill set, ability to prioritize multiple work streams, communicate well with key stakeholders, execute in a fast paced environment, drive towards simple solutions to complex problems, and be eager to learn.



The following duties include, but are not limited to...

  • Perform all basic administrative tasks and support, including but not limited to user and access permission management, process automation, system configuration and customization, troubleshooting errors, etc.
  • Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as Process Builder, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, Flow Builder, Workflows, etc.
  • Optimize user interface and user experience of the Salesforce system, including but not limited to customizing Apps, Lightning Pages, and Page Layouts, streamlining processes and flows, etc.
  • Create and manage custom reports and dashboards to suit business needs.
  • Import key data including relevant leads, contacts, and accounts.
  • Fielding internal requests or issues from team members, assessing common challenges and then implementing solutions or automated processes.
  • Develop and implement operational efficiencies that increase the Growth team’s output and contribute to the company’s bottom line.
  • Evaluate complex business and technical requirements, communicating inherent security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical business owners.
  • Develop, test, review, debug, document, enhance and integrate components to ensure that systems meet functional requirements and business needs.
  • Perform database maintenance tasks, including data cleanup and de-duplication, data quality control, and diagnostic tests.
  • Promote user adoption, develop end-user training materials, and provide training and coaching around best practices and tips on Salesforce usage.
  • Write and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help-related materials for end-users.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionalities and solutions as needed.
  • Performing installation and integration upgrades as needed.
  • Assist other teams across the organization with their Salesforce needs, including the Science, Delivery, and Finance Teams.




  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator for the Sales Cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Salesforce Lightning Experience is a must (Salesforce Classic is not required but good to have).
  • Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce architecture, sharing and security model, and workflow process automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying areas for improvement and recommend/implement solutions.
  • Ability to manage large data sets using ETL tools such as Data Loader, Jitterbit, etc.


  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Certified as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Certified in Advanced Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer I & II, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Groove, etc.)
  • Ability to write SOQL/SOSL queries to retrieve and modify data as needed.
  • Ability to write Apex code to perform tasks and duties that simply cannot be achieved in a declarative way.
