Founded in 2017, Coforma is co-owned by Eduardo Ortiz, CEO, and Ashleigh Axios, CXO. We employ more than 100 talented creators and business operations leaders. Our leadership has decades of experience in transforming and modernizing government digital services from a civic service mindset, and a strong record of developing innovative technology solutions for government, enterprise, and nonprofits.
We’re a minority-owned small business and 10% Veterans. To date, we’ve helped improve access to quality healthcare, connected families in crisis at the US border, researched improvements to Veteran care, provided greater access to civic tools, used technology to tell previously told untold stories, and more.
Our executive leadership has served the Obama White House as Creative Director and the US Digital Service as Creative Director. Our staff has worked across federal and state agencies. Together we value justice and equity, democratic institutions, accessibility, and accountability.
Coforma co-founded the Digital Services Coalition and our CXO, Ashleigh Axios, is a past President of AIGA, the nation’s foremost professional design association. Our team’s experience in the private sector informs the digital modernization we’re helping build with our government partners at the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, among others. Unlimited Paid Time Off
With unlmited paid time off, it's easy for you to take time off for other holidays that are important to you. Plus, we give you the last week of the year off every year.
Coforma offers generous paid holiday time off—including Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Juneteenth, Indigenous Peoples Day, US national election day, and International Volunteer Day.
Coforma also provides other kinds of leave which include paid sick leave, paid family leave, military leave, and bereavement leave—all available after 90 days of employment.
We offer multiple medical insurance plans for employees, paying for either 80% or 100% of the premium depending on the plan selected. Spouse and qualifying dependent care premium coverage will be offered by Coforma beginning in 2023.
Dental and Vision Coverage
We cover 100% of the premium on dental and vision insurance for employees. We also offer dental and vision insurance for your spouse, domestic partner, and child(ren), with family premium coverage coming in 2023.
401k Plan with Match
We match up to 4% of the employee's salary in a Safe Harbor 401k Plan, allow immediate vesting, and also provide both Roth options—all available after 90 days of employment.
Pre-Tax Spending Accounts
Pre-tax Health Spending Account (HSA), FSA, and Dependent FSA account options are available for employees, spouses, domestic partners, child(ren) and qualifying elderly dependents.
Internet and Phone Stipend
Coforma provides an internet and phone stipend to full-time employees to help maintain a stable and professional remote work environment. This stipend is automatically added to paychecks after the first 90 days of employment.
Home Office Stipend
We provide a home office stipend to full-time employees after their first 90 days to help each individual build and sustain a healthy remote work environment that allows them to do their best work.

Through regular 1:1 meetings with your supervisor and the funds available to you for professional development, you'll be encouraged and supported to reach your goals and continuously improve.
We provide a $2,000 professional development fund each year. Our internal professional development resource archive also includes lessons, books, specialized talks, and more.
Personal Goal Support
Within your first 90 days, you'll complete a personal-professional mission statement and craft both short- and long-term goals.
Education, Training, and Inspiration
We provide regular guest speakers and workshops. We also support your participation in select industry- and practice area-relevant memberships, conferences, events, trainings, and certifications.
