Lead For America began in 2017 as a dorm room startup, and has since grown to become one of the nation’s fastest-growing nonprofits and a model national service program. We are building America's next generation of public service leaders, in every corner of the country.
Our flagship program is the American Connection Corps (ACC). ACC's the nation's premier AmeriCorps service program, offering corps members a one-year stint with a government, nonprofit, or other community organization in a rural or emerging community. Corps members spend a year doing critical work that advances economic prosperity in their region, developing skills and connections to launch their career in the process.
We're on a mission to bring needed change to every corner of this country, particularly the places where success is too often defined as "leaving and never coming back". Come join us on the journey!
