OpenPlans

Founded in 1999 as a non-profit technology and advocacy organization, Open Plans used mapping tools and open source data to foster a more transparent, responsive government and opportunities for deep civic engagement. Through its OpenGeo arm, Open Plans supported the development of a number of open-source software packages for the analysis and publication of geospatial information.
