First generation college goers of color aren’t just qualified; they bring unique and necessary value to the workforce. 

● Our current employment gap is largely a function of systemic racism. 

The gap will continue to widen if we focus exclusively on skill development rather than eradicate the racist practices that exclude people of color from the job pipeline.
