Our values

Our purpose is to make electrification simple, measurable, and inevitable. We use the best data and analysis to tell stories of electric transformation. We are outcomes oriented, focused on decarbonizing at the pace the climate crisis demands. And we work to ensure that no household or community is left behind. We know this is the decade that matters, and that a flourishing future depends on the work we do now.

We are here for it.

The rule is simple, but implementing it will be hard: Every appliance we replace from here on out should be electric.

The work will be challenging and fraught. But we have to do it. Because there’s no other way. The great thing is that electrification brings so many benefits—healthier homes, cleaner air, energy bill savings, and revitalized community and country. Why wouldn’t we do this? We hope you’ll join us.

Persistent and Ambitious: We understand the art of negotiation and compromise. But we never let those inevitabilities limit our horizon line. We go big and take risks. We forge pathways, notch victories, and change the calculus of what’s possible.

Outcomes-Driven: The only way to know how close we are to our destination is to count and measure. We identify the market-transforming levers and get to work moving them. We do not wait for someone else to come along.

Clear-Eyed Optimists: The path forward on climate is achievable, and the next decade is an opportunity to do something amazing. We know our why, and have confidence in our ability to achieve it. Demonstrating possibility can overcome paralysis and inertia.

Community-Minded: Our vision demands that everyone, particularly those most affected by climate, economic, and racial injustice, can participate. Individual action is important, but we must create an appealing path that works for everyone.

 

Perks and Benefits

Comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees (and their families). Employees are able to enroll in 401k retirement plan and are eligible for a 3% automatic contribution and up to a 3% employer match on 401k contributions. Employees are also eligible for pre-tax transportation benefits. Employees will receive 160 hours of vacation time, 80 hours of health leave, up to 2 days of casual leave, and 20 hours of volunteer leave annually. Employees will also receive 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year (15 days during Presidential and Congressional elections). We have an office closure between Christmas and New Year. Employees are eligible for 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave after 90 days of employment. Regular, full-time employees and part-time employees are eligible to take up to sixteen weeks of parental leave, in all cases related to birth, adoption, or foster care starting from the first day of employment. We offer access to professional development resources.
