Ending violence against women is everyone’s business.

Reductions in violence against women can be achieved through activism and advocacy coupled with coordinated action across justice, health, financial and other sectors.

This year we are focusing on Control in a Connected World: How Technology Shapes Abuse and Safety

Join us on our free webinar series and explore with us ways in which you can act to end violence against women and girls.

16 Days of Activism - AI, deepfakes & abuse, a new threat.

Artificial intelligence is reshaping our digital world—and with it, the tactics of abuse and coercion. This forward-looking webinar unpacks how emerging technologies like deepfakes, voice cloning, and automated surveillance are being weaponised to harm, manipulate, and control victims.

Participants will:

  • Understand the core concepts behind AI and deepfake technologies, and how they intersect with patterns of coercive control, stalking, and image-based abuse.
  • Explore real-world examples of how abusers are using synthetic media, location data, and AI-driven tools to intimidate or isolate survivors.

This session will be delivered on Microsoft Teams, you will recived the link after booking.
