A Civic Tech'ish Happy Hour: Island Edition

Description

We're taking NYC’s Civic Tech'ish to Governors Island for our first ever Island Edition. Happy hour runs from 2 to 4 on Saturday, October 10th, out on the water with the harbor and the skyline as the backdrop.

Expect a cross-section of people working on cities and public systems: public servants, technologists, founders, funders, consultants, and nonprofit operators. No sales pitches, no panels, just good company and the kind of conversations.

You can also make a full day of it. There's an optional volunteer session with the Billion Oyster Project earlier in the day (spots are limited), plus a few smaller activities around the happy hour that are open to all attendees.
