A DAY WITH GOOGLE - A Free Online Community Event!

Would you like to know about the latest programs available to help you enhance your tech skills? Join the Academy of Digital Visionaries and Scholars (ADVScholars) for a time of learning and exploration with our Special Guest, Basim Newby from the Grow with Google program.

During this informative and fun learning experience online, we will explore programs to help small businesses, job seekers, ministries, youth groups, educators and nonprofits enhance their tech skills. Discover free or low-cost resources available to you and your community. Easy-to-understand resources requiring with no experience to participate in most programs will be introduced to attendees.

• How to Manage Your Online Presence: For Businesses & Career Professionals
• Learn New Tech Skills with Google Career Certificates: For Jobseeker, All Adults
• Teaching Youth to Be Safe Online & Free Coding Resources: For Parents & Youth, Youth Leaders, Community Organizations
• Google Resources for Businesses, Education and Nonprofits
• Education and the Metaverse; Creating Fun, Immersive Learning Experiences for Adults and Youth

Toward the end the event we will explore the Metaverse together in a safe, immersive, fun, adult-and-kid-friendly virtual environment facilitated by our ADVScholars Youth. If you'd like your kids to join us for the Metaverse Experience, please register them individually to receive a ticket to join from their device. Children under 12 must be registered and accompanied by a parent or guardian during this event.
