​​​Codename goose is an open-source AI agent that runs locally on your machine. Whether you're a developer, designer, or just want to automate tasks, Goose can help. With Model Context Protocol (MCP), Goose connects to the tools you are already using to make automation seamless.

​​​What is Model Context Protocol (MCP)?

​​​MCP is an open standard developed by Anthropic (the company behind Claude) that allows AI to securely interact with external apps, providing real-time context. Instead of just responding to prompts, codename goose can work with your files, projects, and data across different tools.
