AI Is Changing the Game. Are You Ready?

The Possibilities and the Concerns

AI is changing the way films are imagined, developed, and produced. And for women filmmakers, it’s opening doors to possibilities that once seemed out of reach.

From creating cinematic environments and visual effects that might otherwise be beyond our budgets to finding new ways to bring our visions to the screen, there’s a lot to be excited about, and even more to talk about.

As AI transforms filmmaking, how do we navigate the opportunities, challenges, and choices that come with it?

Join the Women’s Global Film Festival (WGFF) for an open conversation about how AI is being used in filmmaking, what possibilities it creates, and what concerns we need to consider. Share your ideas, exchange perspectives, challenge assumptions, and ask questions alongside women filmmakers from around the world.

We’ll talk about how filmmakers are putting AI to work, the possibilities it’s creating, and the very real concerns about its growing impact on our industry.

This is an opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas, exchange perspectives, challenge assumptions, and talk openly about the choices we have as women filmmakers.

Whether you’re excited, skeptical, or somewhere in between, we invite you to join the conversation.
