Description

Most hackathons are demo days. This is not a demo day.

This is a competition of pure engineering quality — with prizes (the latest NVIDIA hardware, including the NVIDIA DGX Spark, and over $15k in OpenAI credits) going to the top three finalists. We've designed a hackathon to answer one question: Can you build an AI agent that is objectively useful?

We all have our favorite frameworks and "hobby horses." Are you convinced that DSPy, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex is the true secret sauce? Do you believe that running 10 agents in parallel is the key to productivity? It's time to find out.

This event invites you to put your beliefs and your code to the ultimate test. We're challenging you to build Context Agents that can reliably extract, transform, and reason over the complex, messy, and diverse data that simulates real enterprise environments.

About The Event

Join us for a full-day hackathon designed for AI builders and practitioners. From 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, participants will dive into hands-on challenges centered on creating agents that help AI systems make sense of both structured and unstructured data.

We're excited to partner with Hamel Husain, a machine learning expert with 20+ years of experience at leading companies like Airbnb and GitHub.

Hamel will help guide the hackathon experience and bring his expertise in building and evaluating real-world AI systems to the day’s sessions.

The day will feature:

  • 🚀 Hackathon sessions powered with OpenAI & OpenRouter credits, where individuals (or teams of two) will design, test, and refine models against training and holdout evaluation sets — culminating in final rankings and prizes.

  • 🎤 Interview sessions with leading voices in AI, offering perspective and inspiration throughout the day.

  • 🤝 A High-Signal Environment: Expect a day full of collaboration, experimentation, and technical depth. This is your chance to learn from and connect with peers who are building reliable AI.

Expect a high-signal environment full of collaboration, experimentation, and technical depth—whether you’re competing, learning from speakers, or just connecting with peers.
