Women Who Code Cincinnati is excited to host a round of Lightning Talks!

Talk #1: Discover UX

Understand the difference between UX and UI, the different roles within UX, and what an average week looks like for a UX Designer.

Talk #2: SwiftLint

SwiftLint is a powerful tool that aids in maintaining code quality and consistency. The tool comes with over 200 rules that can be easily implemented, but it also allows for easy rule customization. In this talk we will cover how to write and implement custom SwiftLint rules.

Talk #3: Adding to Your Codebase

As time marches on, technology does as well. In this talk, Alexx will share things to consider to ensure your team is successful when adopting a new technology to your codebase.

🎙️ About our speakers:

Emily Egan

Emily is a Lead UX Designer with over 10 years of design and development experience. Currently she works for LCvista and she’s also a Director for Women Who Code Cincinnati. Beyond her professional life she enjoys gaming, hiking, and photography.

Sandi Ritter

Sandi has over 20 years experience in software development, working on projects ranging from mainframe to mobile development. She is currently employed at P&G where she is the iOS tech lead for an oral care mobile app team. In her spare time, she is a Director for Women Who Code Cincinnati and enjoys playing the drums, challenging herself physically at the gym and visiting thrift stores.

Alexx Mitchell

Alexx is a Software Engineer with 5 years of experience building user-friendly web and mobile applications. She works at P&G and is a lead for Women Who Code Cincinnati. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, running and finding new EDM artists.
