Description

Join us for Toronto Public Library's final program in the Raising Confident Kids fall 2025 series.

Dr. Michael Cheng, child and family psychiatrist at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Ottawa, provides practical tips from the brain science, on how to deliberately, mindfully nudge kids towards healthier technology use and help them tolerate non-electronic activities. Earlier guidance on screen time focused on setting strict screen time limits, but this is not always possible, nor is it enough.
