ABOUT THE ORGANIZATIONS
The AI Furnace is one of the fastest growing AI Founder + Research communities in the world. It was started by AI founders, Angela Mascarenas and Hamza Zaveri, who were based in NYC and London and started the org to support fellow AI founders and operators building in local cities outside of Cerebral Valley (San Francisco). It has since grown to a global community of 15,000 AI founders, operators and researchers and has since opened up in London, Boston, Paris, Seattle, and Dubai.
The MIT Entrepreneurship Club (MEC) is a thriving community for undergrad founders at MIT, where students support and inspire each other in their entrepreneurial pursuits. Through programs like the MEC Sprint and Starthouse, the club encourages students to build and refine their ideas alongside peers, creating a collaborative environment for aspiring founders. Over the past two years, MEC has helped launch over 20 startups, raising more than $80 million in funding, empowering students to turn innovative ideas into impactful ventures.
