Join Andrea Meade, a Registered Physiotherapist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), for a three-part virtual series designed to help tech professionals recognize, manage, and prevent burnout. Andrea brings her extensive expertise in physical and psychological health to each session, guiding participants through the complexities of burnout and offering practical tools for resilience.
Session 1: Burnout Basics
This session will enable participants to appreciate some of the more common occupational, psycho-social, and cultural factors relating to burnout in the tech profession. Participants will learn skills for how to identify and address their own burnout symptoms, and the benefits of both preventative self-care and professional support.
Tech Career Insights: Elia Neishaboori, an experienced engineering manager and tech industry leader, will be available to answer questions on career growth, resume tips, tech leadership, salary negotiation, and more.
This workshop combines mental wellness with tech career insights, offering a unique opportunity to enhance your well-being while discussing your tech career with industry experts. Whether you're passionate about mental wellness or focused on advancing your tech career, this session is designed to provide both motivation and valuable connections.
First 30 Minutes:
An interactive workshop led by Andrea, covering essential concepts, practical tools, and exercises tailored to burnout resilience.
Second 30 Minutes (Optional):
A networking session where participants can discuss the day’s topic further, share personal experiences, and connect with fellow tech professionals.
