Considering a career in tech? There are several viable career paths in the tech industry and many (if not most) do not require in-depth coding knowledge, technical skill, or a childhood full of video games and wi-fi hacking. Of course, if you are an aspiring software programmer, there is no shortage of opportunities either.
In this workshop, we will explore a few positions that play key roles in almost every professional tech environment. You will learn what skills are required for each, what personality types are well-suited, how to prepare for an entry level position/internship, and realistic timeframe expectations.

About The Organizer
Dan Kwon has been an independent software engineer for almost ten years. He specializes in Web & Mobile development with a focus on creating scalable architectures on AWS. His current and past clients include Washington Post, The University of Chicago, Scott's Cheap Flights, Morgan Stanley and a couple dozen early-stage startups. When he is not focusing on fantasy football, he is thinking about fantasy football.
