12 years ago I was teaching the a course at NYU called Careers for Greater Social Impact and thought wouldn't it would be great to create a LinkedIn Group in tandem with the course.

Over the course of those 12 years, Careers for Greater Social Impact has grown to over 4200+ change makers and social impact professionals/leaders from around the world.

About the Facilitator

Sean Harvey, MSOD, MSEd, is Chief Facilitation Officer with Sympónia Facilitator Studio. Sean brings over 25 years experience developing facilitators, bridge builders, and change makers as an organization development consultant, adjunct professor with Cornell, NYU, Baruch College CUNY, change agent mentor and guide, and interfaith minister. At NYU, he created and taught a course called Careers for Greater Social Impact.

He brings a unique approach that blends the ability to flow in the emergent while elevating heart and soul in the space for dynamic and engaging experience while holding calm style that invites a deep level of trust, safety, and openness among participants quickly. He has often been called the "Facilitator's Facilitator" for his commitment and dedication to supporting fellow consultants, leaders, and change agents.

He is Co-Founder of Project Compassion, a national initiative focused on deepening the level of compassion among police officers and within police departments. Most recently he served as the head of Personal Transformation and Wellbeing for EILEEN FISHER. Prior to EILEEN FISHER, he was the Vice President of Talent Consulting for Partners International in NYC where we created Socially Conscious Leadership program for emerging leaders on Wall Street.

He is also the author of the upcoming book, Warrior Compassion, Unleashing the Healing Power of Men, which will be released in September 2023. His book offers a roadmap for men's healing as a catalyst for systems change.
