CityCamp Atlanta 2025

Description

As federal cuts threaten essential services and our local communities face unprecedented challenges, the people of Atlanta have the opportunity to come together to move us closer to that beloved community. Civic Tech Atlanta (501(c)(3), formerly Code for Atlanta), in partnership with the Mayor's Office I-Team, invites community organizers, technologists, artists, designers, public servants, and civic-minded residents to CityCamp on Saturday, September 20th, 2025. CityCamp is an unconference to harness community power and technology for local solutions.

Our theme is We are here to save us. It is our rallying cry for grassroots mobilization at the municipal level. CityCamp will create a vital space for Atlanta's civic ecosystem to co-create and share innovative approaches to community challenges. Key areas include:

• Improving civic engagement through accessible technology
• Identifying actions to build climate resilience
• Ways to address our affordable housing crisis
• Decreasing racial disparities to achieve equitable outcomes
• Building our future while honoring our past

The goal is building stronger community partnerships – bridging siloes, fostering public-private relations, increasing government transparency, and strengthening the ties in our communal fabric.

Join us on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 hosted at City Hall in partnership with City of Atlanta Mayor's Office I-Team to imagine a better Atlanta, connect with a diverse group of leaders, and get energized by the possibilities.
