Connect with others who are just getting started with data viz through this informal networking event. Join to meet new people, exchange ideas, and share experiences. This is a free virtual event presented by the Data Visualization Society and is open to the public to join.

How it works

Depending on the number of people, we'll breakout into smaller groups of 5-8 people.

• We start with a round of introductions: name, pronouns, location, sector or field of work, where you are in your data viz journey, and an icebreaker question
• Then we yap. We'll have guiding questions, but usually the conversation drifts towards people's interests whether it's discussing a project they did recently, asking for advice or feedback, wondering about the future of the data viz field, ranting about a job interview, or more!
