The District of Columbia’s Department of Human Resources (DCHR) announces the Winter Hiring & Resource Fair on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) located at 4200 Connecticut Ave. NW Washington, DC 20008. On-the-spot registration will not be accepted for this event.
The event is free, and registration is required. During registration, candidates will choose up to two positions for consideration. Upon entry candidates are encouraged to visit all participating agencies with roles that are aligned to their skillset. Agencies will review resumes and may preschedule interviews for candidates whose qualifications match the positions. Please note that an interview is not guaranteed for all participants.
District Government agencies may offer immediate job positions to qualified candidates. If immediate offers are not extended, agency representatives may reconnect within a few weeks, pending necessary suitability prescreening. Some agencies have specific security requirements, so on-the-spot offers may not be possible at the hiring event. Please refer to the list below for agencies with additional requirements:
