This session will explore how you can spot the signs that someone is at risk through technology and how to minimise the extent to which technology can be used against them in abuse cases.
This session will be relevant to all professionals working to safeguard children and adults to increase their knowledge and confidence in identifying and responding to this form of abuse.

Raising awareness of the role technology has in exacerbating instances of domestic abuse.
What is tech abuse?
Spot the signs/indicators someone is at risk through technology
Minimise the extent to which technology can be used against victims to cause harm.
Role of professionals to support survivors of tech-abuse.
