Description

Overview

Conversations about technology use in Canadian post-secondary education

Post-secondary institutions in Canada are facing pressure to change. From student demand for more technology integration to the rise of GenAI, institutions are being called upon to embrace digital transformation and prepare students to succeed in an unknown future.

Hosted by the CDLRA, the Emerging Technologies Symposium is a free, virtual event that will bring the Canadian post-secondary community together for a series of conversations about our changing landscape.

Explicitly geared toward post-secondary leaders and decision makers, the symposium will focus on two key themes:

  • The evolution of technology use in teaching and learning (including AI)
  • Supporting digital transformation in post-secondary education

Each session is designed to help leaders make evidence-based decisions about technology selection and resource investment to support the development of enriching, workforce-relevant programs at post-secondary institutions.

Two ticket options are available:

Live Access Ticket - Join in on Zoom! Live access attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists and participate in virtual breakout discussions with other attendees. After the event, attendees can continue their conversations with the hosts and other attendees via a private LinkedIn group. Please select the Live Access Ticket only if you can attend in real time, as there are limited spots available.

Asynchronous Access Ticket - Not able to attend the symposium in real time? Asynchronous access attendees will receive links to the session recordings and access to a private LinkedIn group to engage in conversations with the symposium hosts and other attendees.

*Session recordings will be publicly posted on the CDLRA’s YouTube channel following the event.
