Cyber threats cannot be addressed by government or technical experts alone—they require a broader societal response grounded in collaboration, resilience, and shared responsibility. In this session, we’ll explore what it takes to build stronger collective defenses across sectors, why public policy and civil society both matter, and how communities can better respond to evolving cyber risks such as ransomware and other systemic threats.
Our speaker, Megan Stifel, brings deep expertise at the intersection of cybersecurity, public policy, and cross-sector strategy, including leading cyber-related work at the Institute for Security and Technology and serving as Executive Director of the Ransomware Task Force.
This session is designed for nonprofit leaders, policymakers, advocates, and anyone interested in strengthening collective resilience in the face of growing cyber threats.
