Description

About the Series Field 2 Future is a lifelong learning webinar series from the Center for Land-Based Learning that explores emerging trends, critical topics, and innovative practices in agriculture, environmental science, and food systems. These casual-yet-informative conversations are open to all learners — from students and alumni to professionals and curious community members.

Episode 03: Cultivated Conversations on Agriculture Technology. Join us as we dig into Agriculture Technology and its potential to help both small and large-scale farmers save time, money, labor, and other resources. Our speakers include Joanna Normoyle, Amiga Product Leader at Bonsai Robotics, Lynn Sosnoskie, Assistant Professor of Horticulture at Cornell University, and Mauricio Chavez, FARMS Program Alumni, Agroecology student and Biodesigner at UC Santa Cruz. With the FIRA-USA event coming up in Woodland, where CLBL is headquartered, and the annual Farm Robotics Challenge seeking applications, it's a great time to talk about robotics on the farm.
