This webinar is for early-stage or non-tech founders who are keen to explore AI tools that can take their ideas into a working product.
We’ll start with Google AI Studio, showing how you can quickly prototype and iterate using the latest AI models, including Gemini 3.0, without needing to write code. From there, we’ll explain how to take your prototype live by deploying to Cloud Run, and how Firebase and Google Cloud Platform support essential features like authentication and data storage.
You’ll also see how to push your project to GitHub, with AI-generated prompts to help explain source control and even draft a README. We’ll also introduce Antigravity, a new agentic IDE, as a next step for founders ready to go deeper.
This session is perfect for early-stage founders looking for a fast, low-friction way to start building with AI.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
Google AI Studio is a web-based platform for everyone to prototype, experiment with, and build applications using Google's powerful Gemini family of generative AI models.
Google Antigravity is our new agentic development platform, evolving the IDE into the agent-first era by combining a familiar, AI-powered coding experience with a new agent-first interface. This cross-platform solution is compatible with MacOS, Windows, and Linux, offering model optionality with generous rate limits on Gemini 3 Pro, and full support for Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 4.5 and OpenAI's GPT-OSS.
Esther was a Tester; but is now a Customer Engineer at Google, focusing on helping deliver modern apps with the power of serverless and AI - think Firebase, Google Cloud and Gemini CLI. From her roots in consulting and app development and quality control, Esher brings a passion for making things work better together.
This session will be hosted by Oli Littlejohn, VP of R&D at CodeBase, and Esther Lloyd, Customer Engineer at Google. You will also be joined by other members of the Scottish tech ecoystem.
This webinar is taking place on Zoom on Tuesday 27 January, from 1pm to 2pm.
We ask everyone to sign up individually, so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend. We will also check-in each person on Eventbrite as they join the event so make sure you've signed up to the event in order to attend!
