Description

Girls in Tech Phoenix is hosting the fall Mentorship Meetup featuring Banner Health Cybersecurity and IT leaders.

Speakers will discuss the challenges of their careers and how they obtained their current roles in Cybersecurity and IT.

Florence Kraft – Director, IT Cybersecurity Strategy

Flo started her journey in IT after she got a job as a financial data analyst for an airline – learning the tools to do her job forced her to dig in to the technology that supported it. After taking some time away from work to spend time with her young children, she re-entered the workplace managing technology projects in Finance and Cybersecurity, where once again it was critical to learn how the technology fit together and how it would (or wouldn’t!) support what the company needed. She loved the tech part so much that she eventually got promoted into a role managing the systems and processes she helped put in place. Today, she works with tech teams to help get their projects up and running.
