Curious about what it’s like to choose a college, pick a major, and explore careers in tech? Join us for a fun, inspiring panel featuring women from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey!

These amazing college students once stood exactly where you are—figuring out where to apply, what to study, and how to turn their passions into a career. They’ll share their unique journeys, including:

• How they chose their college and major
• What inspired them to pursue tech
• Internships, projects, and dream jobs
• Tips they wish they could give their younger selves

We'll also talk about challenges they've faced, favorite projects they've worked on, and advice for building confidence in tech. Plus, there will be plenty of time for your questions!

This is a perfect session if you're in middle school or high school and want real advice from women who are just a few steps ahead of you on the path.

Come ready to learn, ask questions, and leave feeling even more excited about your future in tech!

At Girls Who Code Des Moines, students in grades 6 through 12 explore coding in a fun and friendly environment. GWC clubs are free and serve as a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world.

Girls Who Code HQ (generally just called “HQ”) is the official learning platform where club members go for resources, including a unique curriculum, women in tech overviews, coding activities, and more.
