Description

Greening Digital Research is running online workshops to identify the skills required for Net Zero DRI and barriers to upskilling.

The UKRI funded Greening Digital Research project (PI Weronika Filinger) is working to better understand the skills required to support Net Zero digital research infrastructure (DRI). As part of this work, a series of short online workshops will be hosted to review and discuss the skills needed across different roles and identify barriers to upskilling.

You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions - they will cover the same material, so feel free to choose the time that best fits your schedule.

Workshop sessions:

  • 1pm-2pm Monday December 1
  • 11am-12pm Tuesday December 16
  • 3pm-4pm Thursday January 8
  • 12pm-1pm on Friday January 23

During these workshops, we will:

  • Share emerging findings from the project
  • Discuss the skills required for a greener digital research environment
  • Gather feedback to inform practical training and development pathways

Your insights will directly feed into the development of skills frameworks and training resources for the wider DRI community.

Please register your preferred session(s). We look forward to your participation and contributions to this important discussion.
