Hardtech OKC

Description

Oklahoma City is full of people building real things: power electronics, energy systems, robots, drones, aerospace parts, manufacturing lines, lab gear. Most of them have never met each other.

Hardtech OKC fixes that. It's a monthly meetup for engineers, founders, makers, machinists, researchers, and anyone else who works with atoms, not just bits.

What to expect

• Good people and good conversation (and food and drinks)

• Bring what you're working on: a board, a prototype, a part, a failed part with a good story

• No pitches from the stage and no panels. Just builders talking shop

• Meet the people who can help you solve the problem you're stuck on or your next job

Who it's for

Anyone building, or who wants to build, hard tech in Oklahoma: students, career engineers, startup founders, tradespeople, investors who like hardware, and the curious.

When

First Thursday of every month, 6–8:30 PM. First one: Thursday, November 5.

Where

Tobe Energy Corp.

Free to attend. RSVP so we know how much pizza to get.
