Meet the speakers:

Dr Riam Kanso is the founder and CEO of Conception X; the UK's leading venture programme for PhD students who want to build deep technology startups Riam has a PhD in Neuroscience from Oxford University and has worked both in computational science and med tech; and has co-founded two startups before Conception X.

Asier Rufino is an international expert in fostering deep tech innovation ecosystems. He is co-founder and CEO of Tecnalia Ventures, Tecnalia’s venture builder. He has worked for: Accenture, BNP Paribas, The Parthenon Group-EY, and several start-ups always focusing on corporate innovation and entrepreneurship.
