Abstract:
Afficient Academy's AI-powered math & English programs offer a great opportunity for students to bridge the skill gaps, build a strong foundation, learn advanced materials, and get well prepared for the new academic year. This can certainly help a student recover from the summer learning loss and get back to speed efficiently. It also helps a student feel confident, and stay motivated. Ultimately, it helps student secure good grades in the school exams which ultimately helps in successful college applications and getting into one's dream school.
This presentation explains how a student can effectively learn using Afficient's Ai-powered programs to systematically and efficiently build a strong foundation, stay ahead of the competition, and get on the road to academic success.
About the Presenter:
Jiayuan Fang is a father of three children. His eldest son graduated from Saratoga high school and UC Berkeley and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy. His daughter graduated from Harker and Yale, completed a Master’s program at Oxford University and is currently studying medicine at Harvard Medical school. His youngest son graduated from Harker and is studying at the University of Chicago.
Jiayuan Fang has been closely involved in his children’s education for over 20 years and has experienced many after-school learning centers and online programs. Jiayuan Fang realized that education is not yet modernized; he believed that the efficiency and quality of learning could be significantly enhanced with modern technologies. He founded Afficient Academy in 2014 for the purpose of enhancing learning effectiveness with modern technologies.
Jiayuan Fang received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. From 1990 to 1998, he was an Assistant Professor and then an Associate Professor at the State University of New York at Binghamton. From 1999 to 2002, he was an Associate Professor at the University of California at Santa Cruz. Jiayuan Fang received IEEE Region 1 Technical Excellence Award, National Science Foundation Young Investigator Award, Silicon Valley Entrepreneur of the Year Award (by Chinese Institute of Engineers), and Entrepreneur of the Year Award (by Tsinghua Entrepreneur and Executive Club). Jiayuan Fang also served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Advanced Packaging (1994-1999).
Jiayuan Fang was the founder and President of Sigrity, which was an industry leader in software products for the analysis and design of high-speed electronic systems. As Cadence acquired Sigrity in 2012, Jiayuan Fang joined Cadence and served as the Vice President of R&D till 2014 before he founded Afficient Academy.
