Description

Join us for a live online session with Min Dhillon, Principal at Carbon13, followed by a Q&A.

In this virtual event, Min will discuss:

  • Understanding different funding sources for climate tech startups, including angel investors, venture capital, and grant funding
  • How early-stage startups need to communicate the commercial potential of their ideas, as well as their potential carbon impact
  • Why Carbon13 makes most of their UK-based investments through our SEIS fund (The Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme)

Since 2021, Carbon13 have invested into 100 startups – 63% of which have at least one female founder. These startups are working on world-changing solutions such as carbon negative concrete, robotics, bio-based materials, carbon capture and regenerative agriculture.

Min has extensive experience across partnership development, business strategy, fundraising, and go-to-market execution. Prior to joining Carbon13, he served as the UK Strategy Lead at Eventbrite through both its pre and post-IPO phases. With over 15 years of experience spanning technology startups and multinationals, Min has played a central role in Carbon13’s fundraising efforts, securing millions in capital to deploy into its ventures. He also works closely with the portfolio, supporting founders on fundraising strategy and investor readiness.
