Over half a million technology professionals have been laid off since the beginning of 2022, with more than 3,000 companies having axed staff in 2024. Technology executives have blamed high interest rates and a focus on AI as a few reasons for their pivots, leading to a massive exodus of workers.

While an incoming Trump presidency will likely be friendlier to the tech industry and lead to a return in some jobs, the boom and bust of the sector will still give much pause to prospective workers—even with the lure of free food, great perks, potential generational wealth, and high salaries.

So what's out there as 2025 begins? If you're a technology professional tired of the ups and downs, this webinar is for you. We've assembled a panel of ex-tech industry professionals now in new industries to answer the question of whether life is better or not. Our participants include those in construction, fashion, home renovation, and health/wellness.

You'll learn:

  • The myths and the realities of joining these careers, including the benefits and risks you inherit
  • What educational credentials you'll need to break in—and where tech skills do and don't help
  • What opportunities exist in these industries today and how you can take advantage
  • And so much more!

Please feel free to RSVP today with your questions and discover the opportunities available to you in these uncertain economic times.
