Level Up Tech: Online Python for Young Adults

This online learning circle is open to ages 18-29 who self identify as BIPOC. Participants must live, work or go to school in Toronto.

About this event

Python is a versatile programming language used by startups and enterprises such as Google, Facebook, Dropbox and IBM. It is also the language of choice for developers who work in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, networking and IoT (Internet of Things).

This online learning circle is open to young adults 18-29 who self identify as BIPOC. Participants must live, work or go to school in the city of Toronto.

Program participants will learn together in a peer-supported environment through a lightly facilitated study group guided by staff for people who want to take a free online course together in a welcoming space.

Course expectations include attending all 12 weekly sessions, and completing 10 hours of independent course work per week.

Successful participants will receive a certificate of completion and a free voucher for the PCAP Python Programming certification exam valued at $300 USD.
