Join us online for a presentation & discussion on effective, confident communication for tech professionals.
About this event
As a professional in a technical role, it's easy to think that communication skills aren’t as important as other things. However, since communication is something we do everyday, how well we do it has a huge impact on our co-workers, end users, and our own careers.
Join us for an online workshop by Martha Weeks, a leadership communications coach with nearly two decades of experience helping a wide range of professionals, from startups to Fortune 100 companies.
You'll learn:
Frameworks to make all your communications – verbal and written – more effective
Why telling more stories can make you a better communicator and how to develop a story bank
Techniques to help you project more presence and confidence, in person and online
You can have the best ideas in the world but, unless you can clearly communicate them, they won’t get you anywhere. This free workshop will equip you to use good communication as a way to get better results from your efforts while feeling more confident in daily social interactions.
As with all of our events, our goal is to create an environment to learn from each other and help make the local technology community stronger. We hope you will join us!
