Managing Kids and Tech

Description

Managing Kids and Technology

One of the big burning issues in families today is how we as parents can appropriately manage technology. We know it’s here to stay, but we also know that if mishandled, the consequences can be serious. Still, we feel we have no clue about how to harness the positive value of tech while mitigating the harm. After this workshop you’ll leave armed with confidence, tools and an action plan for your family's healthy technology usage.

In this workshop, Alyson will:

1) provide guidelines that will leave you feeling confident that you can create a technology / social media plan that works for everyone.

2) share methods for setting and enforcing boundaries with tech usage and when to seek help for PIMU (problematic interactive media usage).

3) share the top lessons each parent needs to review with their kids to keep them safe online.

4) provide effective ways to parent around tough situations: cyberbullying, sexting, jealousy, FOMO, ignoring parental texts etc.

Plus and any concerns and questions that come forward from attendees.

This webinar is ideal for parents of children aged 5 - 17 years.

This workshop will be recorded, so if you can’t attend in person, you can watch at your own convenience for three weeks after the workshop.

*Please note, all sales are final and tickets are non-refundable.
