The Midwest Climate Summit is a three-day gathering of climate leaders, researchers, and professionals focused on expanding knowledge, accelerating climate action, and catalyzing new partnerships for an equitable Midwestern response to the climate crisis. It is the premiere event in the region for those responding to the climate crisis in the Midwest. For a review of last year’s event, click here.
In Madison, WI at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Memorial Union.
The Midwest Climate Summit is hosted by the Midwest Climate Collaborative, a multi-sector network spanning 12 states working for a carbon neutral, climate resilient, interconnected Midwest region. This event prioritizes multi-disciplinary approaches that connect leaders across sectors and communities for greater collective action on climate.
Who should attend:
MCC Members: MCC members receive 2 free registrations and discounts on each additional registration. Learn more about membership here.
Students: There are reduced prices for students who attend virtually and in-person.
The call for workshop proposals is open! The Summit is a great chance to advance conversations, share best practices, hear from others across sectors, and build valuable skills. Submit your proposal by October 25.
This is an interactive and engaging event. The MCC does not prescribe specific topics because we want to hear from the community what subjects, best practices, and challenges you are seeing and experiencing. We encourage workshops that take advantage of in-person engagement and design presentation spaces for maximum participation. The Summit facilitates relationship-building, problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and ideation.
The Summit provides an opportunity for local, regional, and national leaders to increase ambition and action. Summit sponsors contribute to the event’s success by making it accessible to more people, highlighting key partners in the region, and enhancing the experience for all attendees.
Sponsors also enjoy an opportunity to engage with leaders in education, research, and practice, including in the public and private sectors as well as college students across the region.
