Description

Welcome to the 7th annual NYC AgTech Week, organized by the NYC Agriculture Collective.

About this event

About NYC AgTech Week 2022 The NYC Agriculture Collective - a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating about and increasing exposure of innovation and opportunity in AgTech and urban farming, is pleased to announce the 7th annual hybrid [virtual + in-person] NYC AgTech Week; the only AgTech conference on the East Coast run by leaders of the industry themselves.

The NYC Agriculture Collective Board and Partners are founders, non-profit operators, advocates and farmers of some of New York City's most exciting AgTech organizations.

NYC AgTech Week 2022 will take place September 26 to September 30th 2022 across New York City, bringing together a multidisciplinary, international audience for a week of virtual panels, farm tours, and networking events across the 5 boroughs of NYC: showcasing the urban farming ecosystem and providing an equitable, insightful, and valuable look into the state of AgTech today. NYC AgTech Week is notable for being the only AgTech Conference that is produced and organized by the pioneers of the industry themselves.

This year, NYC AgTech Week’s unique hybrid programming of virtual panels and in-person farm tours will culminate on September 30th with the launch of the first-annual Generation Fest, presented by non-profit organization Thought For Food (TFF) and The NYC Agriculture Collective.

Generation Fest is a one day in-person event that builds on the success of TFF’s previous TFF Summits which have taken place around the world in cities like Berlin, Amsterdam, Zurich, Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, and Rome.

The NYC Agriculture Collective and Thought For Food Foundation are delighted to be producing NYC AgTech Week and Generation Fest in partnership with Climate Week NYC; highlighting the role agriculture and food equity play in building a sustainable climate future.
