For more than 125 years, The New York Public Library has been an essential provider of free books, information, ideas, and education for all. Serving millions of patrons a year, the Library is a key resource in helping our patrons understand and attain the skills they need to succeed.

Over the past few decades, New York City has transformed into a thriving hub of growth and innovation for businesses across the tech sector. To meet this growing need for tech education and information, NYPL offers hundreds of classes and programs dedicated to helping New Yorkers learn and develop digital skills, from free coding programs to advanced computer classes.

This fall, the Library is launching NYPL TechFair 2022 to continue its efforts to help adults become confident and dynamic participants in today’s digital world. An all-day event, NYPL TechFair 2022 is an opportunity for New Yorkers of all backgrounds to hear from exciting guest speakers, learn about the latest developments, network with members of the industry, and explore employment opportunities.
