OIT Denver | Summer Mini Hike & Hangout

Come hang out with your Out in Tech friends outdoors! This is an opportunity soak in the lovely CO summer weather with the Out in Tech crew

About this event

We will do a mini hike (~2mile) and have a nice picnic afterwards. If you want to join just for the picnic, that’s also welcome! There’s a picnic area by the trailhead where we can hang without doing the hike if we choose to. Both activities (hike and picnic) are optional and you can do whatever you choose. Your partners, friends, furry friends are all welcome as well.

Logistics

Please bring water as we all know how intense CO Sun can be. We will also provide some water, other beverages, and snacks.

The trailhead is about 30min drive from Denver. If you don’t have a means of transportation, please DM any of the organizers and we will help find carpool partners so we can see you all :woman-with-bunny-ears-partying:

It’s not an intense hike, so regular sneakers should be okay.

There’s a port-a-potty at the trailhead.

10:00 Meet at trailhead

10:15 Start going to picnic spot for those who want to just chill

10:15-11:00 Hike (or picnic for those who stay)

11:00 Meet back at trailhead & go to picnic spot

11:00-12:00 Picnic
